Porsche unveils 2020 911 Carrera 4 Coupe and Carrera 4 Cabriolet as all-weather sports cars
Porsche is adding more models to the 911 lineup and has revealed the 2020 Carrera 4 Coupe and Carrera 4 Cabriolet.
The 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show has opened its door to car manufacturers worldwide. We’ve seen automakers unveiling their latest creations there and one of such is Porsche. The German automaker has unveiled the 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe and Carrera 4 Cabriolet. Both models are coming from the 911 lineup and just perfectly suits every weather.
As Naijacarnews was told, the two models are equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder engine that churns out 379 hp (283 kW/384 PS) and a maximum torque of 448 Nm (331 lb-ft)The engine is mated to a standard 8-speed PDK transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.

The Carrera 4 Coupe is able to sprint from 0-60 mph in just 3.8 seconds, courtesy of the Sport Chrono Package. Max speed is at 180 mph (290 km/h)
For the Carrera 4 Cabriolet, it takes 4.0 seconds to accelerate to 60 mph under the Super Chrono Package making it marginally less of a sprinter than the Coupe. And without the package, it will take 4.2 seconds. Its top speed is also on the lower side, at 179 mph.
The two cars feature a standard Porsche Active Suspension Management system with Normal and Sport modes
Checking out their performance, the two cars features Porsche Active Suspension Management system as standard and it also came with Normal and Sport modes. There’re options available for customers who would want limited-slip rear differential and ceramic composite brakes to place an order.

Much isn't revealed about styling. However, Porsche says the Carrera 4 Coupe is fitted with “one rectangular, single-tube tailpipe on each side"
Both models have 19-inch and 20-inch wheels perforated and ventilated discs
The 2020 Carrera 4 Coupe and Carrera 4 Cabriolet have 19-inch and 20-inch wheels whose discs are perforated and ventilated. The front and rear wheels are 13 inches.
Both models are ready for order and delivery to the US will begin the first quarter next year. Pricing for the Coupe starts at $104,700 (₦38 million) while the Cabriolet sells for $117,500 (₦42.5 million). The price excludes delivery, processing and handling fee of $1,350 (₦488,700)
