The new Range Rover Evoque has received a maximum five-star safety rating award from the Euro NCAP, thus, confirming the Evoque to be among the safest, refined and capable premium compact SUVs found in the market.

Based on the safety test conducted, the Range Rover Evoque scored 94% for adult occupant safety (AOS). This score has been adjudged the highest gotten from any Land Rover or Jaguar product to present. And for younger passengers in the rear seat, it got 87% for child occupant safety (COS). With this, the Evoque becomes the newest Land Rover product to receive a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP among other models from Range Rover.

The Evoque rides on Land Rover's new Premium Transverse Architecture (PTA) to make sure it attains maximum occupant safety. The model features the newest advanced driver assistance system which includes Lane Keep Assist, Rear Parking Aids, Emergency Braking, and a Standard Rear Camera to help prevent road collision.

Naijacarnews learned that this features all combined, fetched the maximum five-star rating from Euro NCAP testing program known to be the toughest till date.

Two optional packs are available to be added to the existing features. They are the Park Pack which has rear traffic monitor, 360-degree parking aid, Park Assist, and clear exit monitor. The Drive Park has blind spot assist, adaptive cruise control and high-speed emergency braking to keep you safe while on the road.

Coscharis Motors is the distributing company that makes the Evoque, along with other Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles available in the Nigerian market.

The model is fitted with systems of airbags, a pedestrian airbag which means the High-end SUV can safeguard its occupants and those outside too.

The new Range Rover Evoque has some sets of advanced technology comprising of LR's ClearSight Rear-View mirror, which when switched on changes into an HD video screen. And the ClearSight Ground view, which gives the driver a clear view of the road. It’s useful when you are trying to park in difficult parking spaces and dealing with rough terrain.
