Looking back at the previous seventh generation, the 2010 Honda Accord exterior incorporates modern changes in its look that gave it that contemporary feel. It comes with dual-zone automatic climate control, and additional 270-watt sound system, XM Satellite Radio, Bluetooth with steering-wheel-mounted controls; all these is newly equipped for the 2010, and there are also heated front seats, compass and exterior temperature indicators, automatic on/off headlights and, for the sedan, an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The 2010 Honda Accord offers three engines. This is available with the option of going for the four-cylinder and V6 engines, manual or automatic transmission. Accord LX and LX-P, both have a 2.4 liter DOHC i-VTEC 16 valve inline four-cylinder engine capable of giving out 177 horsepower.

While having a front-wheel drivetrain, Honda Accord EX and EX-L trims also have 2.4-liter engine models, but also have a more powerful one that delivers 190hp at 7000rpm. Honda Accord EX and EX-L also offer 3.5-liter V6 engines. The V6 engine is a 3.5 liter 24-valve SOHC i-VTEC engine capable of 271hp at 6200rpm.
