The futuristic Rolls-Royce 103EX has finally returned to its home at Greenwood, London, United Kingdom after 4 years
The concept model, also known as the ‘Vision Next 100’, is set to become Rolls-Royce’s very first all-electric autonomous car. It is a big step into the future, 2013 to be precise, of what driving would look like.
There would be no need for steering wheels since it will chauffeur humans to their pre-programmed destinations
According to CEO of Rolls-Royce Motorcars, Torsten Muller-Otvos; he said:
“We are delighted to welcome 103EX home to Goodwood. After almost four years on international duties, we felt it was time for the experimental model to return home It is a chance for those who worked on the project to relive some great memories, and for people who have joined us more recently to discover one of the most important cars we have ever built”
In 2016, the all-electric Rolls-Royce 103EX for the 2035 model year made its debut with an artificial intelligence designed to take people to their pre-programmed destinations.

The British luxury marque, Rolls-Royce, said:
“As our first fully autonomous electric vehicle, 103EX was a huge statement of intent. In its technical innovation, it showed unequivocally that Rolls-Royce regards electric power as the future of automotive propulsion,”
“It also demonstrated our radical vision of effortless, autonomous, connected, spacious and beautiful luxury mobility, with each car as individual as the customer themselves.”
All thanks to the ingenious work of design from the former head of design at Rolls-Royce, Giles Taylor, who is presently working for Hongqi, a Chinese automaker. He is now providing strong competition for his former employer, by designing a Chinese Rolls-Royce.
